Park City, Utah
Carved out of the dramatic scenery of Utah's Wasatch Range, Park City Mountain Resort is a world-class ski destination that is both blessed and cursed by its location: it's a great place to ski or ride, but a difficult place to navigate by foot or car.

Existing Conditions Analysis
Park City Mountain Resort has two adjacent base villages that operate independently of each other, creating complex traffic patterns and incompatible use models. The goal of the study was to merge the two existing villages while accommodating a proposed third base village.
Existing pedestrian circulation is unsafe and confusing. The study identified conflicts between the two existing villages and outlined a solution to improve safety and usability for pedestrians.
The study provided specific recommendations for improving all aspects of site usability, especially for vacationers. Recommendations covered signage, mass transit, parking, aesthetic character, and pedestrian circulation.
