Vernon Hills, IL – Civil engineering and surveying firm Manhard Consulting today appointed William Gladbach, P.E., P.Eng, PMP to serve as Western Region Managing Director, a newly created position necessitated by the company’s growth in its western territories. Gladbach will be based in Manhard’s Denver, Colorado office.

As Western Region Managing Director, Gladbach will oversee all operations in Manhard’s Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada locations, including business development and client relations along all service lines, resource allocations, staffing and utilization, quality insurance and quality control, budgeting and overall financial performance. As a part of Manhard’s national management team, Gladbach will also assist in the firm’s broader strategic planning to identify acquisition and regional growth opportunities.

Previously with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., Gladbach brings 24 years of experience in consulting engineering, business development, client relations and construction management. Prior to graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with bachelor’s degrees in architecture and civil and environmental engineering, Gladbach proudly served in the United States Navy, participating in Operations Praying Mantis, Just Cause, Eastern Exit, Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
