Natural gas pipelines, first laid in 1949, span the length of the subdivision, requiring special crossings and grading to handle construction traffic and utilities.
Grading, utilities, stormwater, sanitary sewer, drainage and other infrastructure improvements were designed to accommodate steep grades of six to ten percent throughout the site.
