Manhard Consulting provided full civil site design for this 267-unit class-A Multi-family residential community with a 5,400 SF clubhouse/amenity center.
Stormwater management and wetland conservation were among the biggest challenges. The adjacent property did not account for the full storm events that would adversely impact the rainfall occurring onto our site. To correct this, Manhard designed an oversize detention and prove to the City we were sizing our detention for several acres of offsite flow.
Cognizant of wetland preservation requirements onsite, Manhard was able to design the drainage around wetlands that needed to be preserved during and after construction and thus saved the client several thousand dollars in wetland mitigation fees.
