Vernon Hills, IL – Manhard Consulting, a full-service civil engineering, surveying and land planning firm with offices nationwide, has hired Marcy R. Knysz, AICP, CPESC, LEED AP, to serve as senior project manager. Knysz will be based in the Vernon Hills office.

In her new position, Knysz will provide project management to a wide variety of clients with a focus on regulatory program compliance, land development and planning. In addition, she will assist in the expansion of the natural resources permitting division of the firm.

Prior to joining Manhard Consulting, Knysz served as a practice leader at another firm, where she was responsible for business development and project management. Her 18-year career brings technical expertise in all aspects of planning, permitting and licensing.

Knysz received a bachelor’s degree in cell & structure biology from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in biology from Northern Illinois University.
