Manhard Consulting was selected to the project team to provide civil engineering and surveying services for this 48,000 SF Jewel-Osco grocery store located on 3.5 acre site at Cottage Grove and 61st in Woodlawn. The project helped bring grocery to an underserved area of the City.

Manhard assisted in site due diligence and was instrumental in obtaining the sign-offs to allow this project to proceed. This work included vacation of existing onsite utility easements and assistance obtaining Planned Development approvals from the City of Chicago DPD. Responsibilities also involved collaboration with the City departments of Transportation (CDOT), Water (DWM), Disability (MOPD), and Landscaping to create a site that balanced tenant functionality with code requirements.
